RMLA have a track record of working with Local Authorities in the delivery of projects through the Public Spending Code Gates.
Economic & Business Case.
From Local Authority led projects to projects which were identified in plans which our staff managed and prepared, we have both the economic and business case experience and expertise to guide projects through the requirements of the Public Spending Code. Many of the projects which our staff have delivered through the various stages of the Public Spending Code are also projects which our staff prepared successful funding applications for and which we continued to work on through the Part 8 process to delivery on site. This start to finish delivery of services, from the preparation of the plan/strategy to the delivery of the project on site, is a unique value add of the RMLA Team.
Our service offer in the area of economic and business case advice covers the range of requirements set out in the Public Spending Code including the preparation of Strategic Assessment Reports, Preliminary Business Cases, Gate 2 Reports and Final Business Cases. We work in partnership with Local Authorities, and their internal Teams, in the delivery of such reports to ensure the successful progression of projects through the Public Spending Code Gates. We also work with Local Authorities preparing economic strategies/studies, multi-criteria analysis and strategic assessments in support of funding applications. Such work at an early stage in the project delivery process establishes a solid basis for the project, is central to securing funding and directly informs the progression of funding approved projects through the Public Spending Code.
